Junfu·Fusui Hall Wuyuan is located in Yan village, Sikou Town, the first village of Confucian Merchants in Wuyuan County. It was built by Jin Wenjian, a good man of Qing Dynasty, during the reign of Qianlong. It is a representative Confucian merchant mansion with 'three into three stories' in ancient Huizhou. It has attracted two generals, Zuo Zongtang, an important Minister of the late Qing Dynasty, and Tang Shizun, a famous Anti Japanese general, to set up camp and headquarters here. Therefore, it is also known as the general's mansion.
Now, the new owner of Fusui hall, Fang Xiuying, Li Nian and Wang Ling, the provincial inheritors of intangible cultural heritage of Wuyuan tea art, are working together to repair and protect Fusui hall. The inheritors of national three carving intangible cultural heritage are invited to build it carefully, so that Fusui hall can reproduce the glory of Huizhou merchants' ancient houses. While inheriting the ancient Huizhou culture, we should reasonably install modern facilities in the house to make people feel the ancient culture and modern civilization, the passage of time and space, and the poetic rural life.
